Backyard Wonderland

Media research revealed that TV advertising would be the most effective channel for Oderings Garden Centres. Our challenge was to develop a campaign that would grow brand awareness as well as drive sales.    

Our solution lay in a character we called Little Miss Oderings, who goes on an animated journey through magical landscapes. Bright, whimsical illustrations capture the inspiration of the Oderings brand, supported by compelling specials to drive customers in store. We extended the campaign beyond TV to online advertising and even the store environment with large cutouts of the character and illustrations. 

Little Miss Oderings has been a huge hit. Following the launch of the first ad, South Island stores sold out of the advertised special, and social media feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
