Partnering with ChristchurchNZ, we feel privileged to have helped develop the visual identity and tell the narrative of our city, Ōtautahi Christchurch: the city of exploration. This is merely the beginning of a journey, but has already been a complex project that required much collaboration and commitment, involving many people and parts.
We refined the narrative to begin telling our city story, and in addition to the emotional and powerful video that we created with our production partner Orly, we began the roll-out and launch of ‘Explore’. This involved designing an extensive range of collateral including various stakeholder presentations, brochures, flags / banners, billboards, print ads and templates.
With ChristchurchNZ, we created an online toolkit of resources designed to help local Christchurch-based businesses, stakeholders, collaborators and partners shape their own stories and share them with the world. To support the new brand and ensure total consistency, we developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to be adhered to when developing any further collateral.
