This year we have been working with TEDxChristchurch as creative partner to make the event a roaring success once again. With the 2018 event’s theme of ‘The Campfire’, on October 6th we wanted people to see things under a different light.
Boasting a consistently impressive list of speakers representing a range of different viewpoints and expertise in different fields, The Campfire treated its sell-out audience to first-hand knowledge from some of New Zealand’s most inspiring people. With a focus on intimacy, we encouraged listeners to join in each conversation and be challenged, provoked, and inspired to think differently.
With the down-to-earth nature of this years event in mind, we created a simple identity based upon the distinct glow of a campfire. Working with BJ Ball Papers and Spectrum Print, we produced a range of collateral that was given to attendees on the day. This included a large fold-out event programme, and a bespoke notebook featuring a glow-in-the-dark cover and saddle sewn binding.
